Cfpg offers professional, highly specialised help to children, young people and their parents and families, where an individual may be suffering emotional and behavioural difficulties, or the family may be experiencing upheaval or crisis. Cfpg came together in order to meet a growing need amongst families and other organisations that may not be ful... ly met within NHS provision. We aim to offer a responsive and timely intervention, and to be thoughtful about your or a family's need. We try not to operate a waiting list, and where appropriate will refer onto other suitably qualified professionals, associates or to NHS teams and voluntary agencies. We accept referrals from parents, GPs, Health visitors, adult practitioners, schools and statutory agencies with the family's permission where appropriate. We maintain links to local NHS Children and Young Peoples' Services, and a network of clinicians such as Child Psychiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Paediatricians, and Play Therapists, and Adult Psychotherapists.
