CES Group P.A. was established in 2009 as a change in ownership occurred from the previously established Cohorst Engineering & Surveying, Inc. The roots of the company however, date back to the 1950's. In 1976, previous owner Steve Cohorst, became an employee of Grove & Company, Engineers and Surveyors and owner Dutch Grove. Grove & Company, previo... usly Paden and Company, had been serving Marysville and its surrounding communities since the late 1950's. In 1982, Dutch Grove retired and the records of Grove & Company were purchased by Steve Cohorst who formed the company Cohorst and Associates. The company expanded its services in 2001 by incorporating into Cohorst Engineering & Surveying Inc and adding current employee Rob Peschel, as a partner. For the next 8 years Cohorst Engineering & Surveying, Inc. continued to grow by adding local professionals to its staff and by staying current with new industry technology. With the retirement of Steve Cohorst in 2009, the business was sold to employees Rob Peschel and Tony Duever. The company was developed into a Professional Association and the name was changed to CES Group P.A.
