The CENTRE has been granted exclusive the right to sell Moosehead Branded promotional products and aparrel in Metro Moncton. Products will be available at the Race In Convenience Speedway Souvenir Booth and at the Race In Convenience store at the corner of Elmwood Drive and the Lewisville Rd within the next few weeks. "Moosehead branded promotional products are among the most highly renowned for quality and price in the market" said Tim Wile fo CFS. "We're very pleased to be able to represent them here in Moncton. Moosehead is Canada's Oldest Independently Owned Brewery with it's corporate headquarters and brewery operations in Saint John, NB and Halifax NS. Moosehead and Alpine are the Official Cold Drink of the CENTRE for Speed and the Atlantic Stock Car Championships. June 7, 2007 - ViaRail Canada is pleased to offer Weekly and Series competitors a chance to win a trip for two from Halifax / Moncton to Montreal or Toronto. June 5, 2007 - Prosser, Wormel, Fournier first to qualify for Atlantic Canada's best attended sportsman event - The Atlantic Stock Car Championships. The three competitors have secured a position at the Oct 6th event by virtue of their first place finishes in a Maritime Super Series event per the Super Series rules announced at the beginning of the season. Up to 11 poisitons are able to be filled in the Pro Stock 250 and Sportsman 100 year end events. Competitors who win a Maritime Super Series event automatically secure a position in the Atlantic Championships. June 1, 2007 - The scecond of eight Maritime Super Series events - The Maple Leaf Foods "Race for the Cure" 150 is set to go this weekend in Shediac with Freddy Prosser and Kris Fournier leading the points in their respective classes. Competition is expected to heat up this weekend with more competitors indicating they will be in attendance in the Sportsman class so it should be fun and exciting racing. Fournier and the other Pro Stock competitors from the initial event have indicated they will return for race 2 of the Pro Stock Super Series. In addition Street Stocks, TigerCats and ThunderCats will also race for points. Racing gets underway at 2 PM. Pit Gates open at 9 AM and the front gates open at 12:30 PM. Competitors are urged to arrive early as the pits and tech are expected to be busy. We are opening an hour early in the pits to help accomodate the additional cars. Keep in mind that you may practice prior to tech as long as this is not your first time out this year. First timers must proceed to tech for an initial safety inspection prior to any track time.
