About Central Wyoming Aviary
CWA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit avian rescue dedicated to the rehabilitation and adoption of abused, neglected, and unwanted parrots in Wyoming and surrounding states. For over ten years, CWA has provided education on the needs of these complex creatures, along with services such as surrendering, fostering, and adoption. Although CWA has decided to dissolve in 2024, it has placed thousands of birds and has partnered with SouthWest Exotic Avian Rescue (SWEAR) to ensure the continued care of its animals. The organization is entirely volunteer-run and has aimed to raise awareness to prevent overbreeding and improper care of parrots.Explore more
