Central Pipe Supply was founded in 1975 to fill a void in the Jackson industrial pipe, valves, and fittings market, and the municipal water, gas and sewer market. The founders felt that they could provide that market not only with the needed products but also superior service. The company's reputation grew rapidly as members of the industry and the... municipal community came to rely on the company's quality products, higher level of service, timely order processing, vast inventory and willingness to make every effort to make the company's customers happy. The company's first office was located in a Quonset hut on an industrial side street in Jackson, MS where the company had 3000 sq. ft of office space with a acre pipe yard. In 1978 the company built a 20,000 sq. ft. building on 5 acre in a new industrial park in Pearl, MS. The company has grown in three different additions since 1978. The company's office and counter facility now encompass 4,000 sq ft., the company's warehouse 42,000 sq. ft., and the company's pipe yard 11 acres. The company currently employ 42 people in Pearl, MS. The company's other two locations are Memphis, TN and Little Rock, AR. Memphis's warehouse is 15,000 sq. ft. with a 3 acre yard and they currently employ 13 people. They specialize in the actuation of valves and stainless piping products.
