Central Erin Property Management is a second generation, family run business, which specializes in Residential and Commercial/Retail management in Southern Ontario. Established in the early 80's, Steve Peros initially created a company to manage the family's commercial and retail properties, which would allow him to maintain their holdings at the h... ighest possible level. Being proactive rather than reactive set the level of integrity this company's foundation would build upon. This pride of ownership has brought Central Erin forward as a leader in quality property management. Steve Peros has been involved in the construction, development and management industry since 1998. After apprenticing for five years, he received his ticket and started a Mechanical Contracting company in the early 70's. Throughout this decade, he was involved in high-rise and retail plazas, both in new construction, as well as retrofitting older properties. As his expertise grew, so did his reputation, and it was not long before his company expanded into development, in both Ontario and Alberta, including office buildings, and big box retail locations. In the mid 80's he began developing and building single family homes in east Oakville. The introduction of third party assets into his management portfolio began in the early 90's, as the reputation and track history began to be realized. During this next decade, the company has grown to managing over 1,200 residential high-rise and townhouse units, and approximately 300,000 sq ft of commercial/retail space with an asset value of over $100,000,000. Over this same period, he has tendered and overseen capital projects of over $20,000,000, dealing with work on underground garages, apartment buildings including replacing windows, balcony and concrete superstructure restoration repair and replacement, as well as office tower upgrading and retrofitting.
