Central Credit Services was founded in January of 1987 by Pete Durante. Pete has over 25 years of experience in the debt collection industry. After completing 20 years of service in the United States Air Force he started a new career with one of the nation's largest collection agencies in 1976. He eventually rose to the position of Sr. Vice Preside... nt of National Operations and was responsible for overseeing the entire operations and budget for 18 different offices. Central Credit Services started operations with one client and a firm commitment to excellence. At that time we had visions of growth that were very conservative. We were very cautious with our growth with the assumption that if we went slowly with hard work we would eventually put ourselves in a position to take on new challenges. Things don't always work out as you plan! Due to an outstanding first month of collections, our client doubled our inventory. Almost immediately we obtained 100% of their national portfolio. That put us in a position to grow faster than we had intended. We not only met the challenge but also exceeded all expectations.
