Central Advocacy Partners was formed in April 2011 by the merging of Advocacy into Action and Quality Action Group. Historically both organisations have their roots in campaigning and supporting individuals affected by the introduction of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 and supported a large number of individuals with learni... ng disabilities transition to community resources following the closure of the Royal Scottish National Hospital in 2002. Over twenty years Advocacy into Action and Quality Action Group worked tirelessly to tackle social exclusion and to enable people with learning disabilities across the Forth Valley to have their voices heard through a diverse range of dynamic and creative projects. Central Advocacy Partners aims to use our twenty years of experience providing positive forward thinking support to people with learning disabilities across the Forth Valley and apply our skills knowledge, experience and passion to support all vulnerable groups across Forth Valley.
