We are a small farming business and we only sell our own produce. Buying from us means you are supporting two families - Andrew, Claire & Dan (we own the business), and Aaron and Leah who work with us. As we are so small, we do everything ourselves - the farming, being our natural habitat, to marketing ... not necessrarily our point of strength but... we hope you enjoy our social media, website and photos nevertheless! As we only sell our own produce, our offering of meat for direct sales is not always instant, but it is always worth the wait! It is all free range and grass fed. Generally, we have a monthly batch of fresh beef, lamb and chicken which can be posted to you or picked up from our pop up shop. If you miss the fresh, there is nearly always some lovely goodies to offer from the freezer. Our beef is North Devon Ruby Red, has a beautiful dark red colour with delicious delicate marbling of healthy organic fat which oozes flavour when it is cooked. We always hang our beef for at least 5 weeks. Our lamb is equally remarkable, having spent their lives roaming around our Purbeck farm. The chicken is truly free ranging and tastes like chicken used to taste - an amazing flavour and a good meaty bird, serving many meals from each. The eggs our hens lay are full of intense flavour and have a bright yellow yolk as the hens are able to roam freely each day.
