Cease Addiction Now, Inc. (CAN) now offers Residential Treatment for adult males. The Men's Residential program has 16 beds for adult males 18 years of age and over who have substance abuse and behavioral health issues (dual diagnosis). Our focus in this Residential Treatment Program is comprehensive; substance abuse (and behavioral disorders more... generally) must be seen as arising from a complex of specific causes which must be fully brought to light and definitively addressed on an individualized basis. Very generally, however, we will include the following for each participant in the program: Steps to rational thinking Training in self-care Developing self-esteem Learning the importance of community and being a positive contributor to it Understanding the futility and self-defeating nature of substance dependence Understanding proper and functional family dynamics Training in socially appropriate behavior Developing individuality and a sense of uniqueness The Men's Residential Treatment Program is intensive; it is time-limited and highly directed and our overriding goal is to give each participant the full range of coping skills to maximize personal effectiveness and reduce the risk of relapse to the absolute minimum possible.Read More
