CDIBP started to organize in 1953, and established in 1958 with the combination of Southwest BCG Vaccine Manufacturing Institute, Dalian Institute of Biological Products, Kunming Institute of Biological Products and part of Shanghai Institute of Biological Products. In the very beginning, only one product-BCG vaccine was manufactured in CDIBP and w... ith limited production value. Till 1961, the production value reached to 3 million Yuan. Since 1980, CDIBP made a great effort on new products development. Human Leucocytes induced interferon, plasma products such as Human Albumin and other products were developed and manufactured. The technology of chromatographic method, ultra filtration, ultra-centrifugation had been widely. Until the end of 1987, the output had reached 40,820,000 Yuan. Since 1988, CDIBP continued to set up series of transformations and adopt effective measures. CDIBP has constructively carried out the work following GMP and focusing on the direction of the International Biological products' development in order to broaden the market with bringing up in the foreign advanced technology. Until 1997, the output had reached from 48,500,000 Yuan to 216,900,000 Yuan. In2001, CDIBP converted its whole plasma fractionation facility into CHENGDU RONGSHENG PHARMACEUTICALS Co.,Ltd , and has become the main shareholder of the company since then. CDIBP has dedicated itself to the R&D and production of vaccines, blood products, genetic recombinant products and diagnostic products. Biological products manufactured here are in conformity with the Chinese Pharmacopeia and Drug Administration Law of PRC and following current GMP. CDIBP also put much emphasis on the research and development of new products, and is collaborating with a lot of famous international organizations.
