CCR Events was started in 1996 by Ken Scurry and Scott Lynch. After working together for nearly 10 years at two other companies within the industry, they decided it was time to take their experience and knowledge to the next level. Originally known as Convention Computer Rental and focusing mainly on computer and data display rentals, CCR experienc... ed rapid growth, doubling in size the first year. Sensing future changes in association and exhibitor requirements, Ken and Scott shifted CCR's focus more towards audio- visual and staging, prompting the name change to CCR Convention Presentation Services. Additional inventory and staffing required to support the company's new direction required us to expand our facility. In 1999 we built a 45,000 square foot office and warehouse space just minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport . The next year we added our own fleet of trucks to reliably transport our equipment from one event to the next. As part of our 10th Anniversary celebration, we launched our new brand, CCR Events...the perfect synthesis of what we do! CCR Events has maintained long term relationships with many of the original associations and corporations that were original customers back in 1996.
