About Catered Affair
The Silveys were born and raised on separate coasts, but both have been in the restaurant and hospitality industry from a young age. An Australian based steakhouse in its infantile stages resulted in the two meeting. The pair spent five years travelling the United States opening new restaurants and training new staff. It was during this time that they were presented an opportunity to move to Omaha and become the proprietors of two new restaurants. After almost 20 years in the corporate restaurant industry, Scott and Kathy decided to open their own catering business with a focus on great food and attention to detail. The idea of what is now A Catered Affair was born during a family vacation with their two sons, Payne and Hunter.
