Cascadia International

Cascadia International, LLC and Cascadia Isuzu Trucks, LLC were formed in November of 2006, when the assets of Pacific Coast Truck Center (Washington) and Alaska Truck Center (Alaska) were purchased from the former owner, Dole Foods. Since then, the company has expanded with an additional location in Yakima, Washington, purchased in May of 2007. Th... e name "Cascadia" dates back to the early 1800s, when Lewis and Clark were exploring the Northwest territories, and was coined by United States President Thomas Jefferson. It was used to represent an independent region or state with shared political views, cultural values, language, history and interests. The name also draws upon the landmark mountain range in the Pacific Northwest, the Cascade Mountain Range, which runs through Washington, Oregon and California. At different times in history, the Cascadia region included British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and - at times - Northern California, Montana, Wyoming and Alaska. Cascadian values are independence, autonomy, innovation and cooperation.
