Last year people spent almost 50,000 hours participating in programs and accessing resources. Over 8,000 people use and support the Center each year. Cascade Peoples Center is staffed primarily by volunteers. Last year 288 people contributed over 11,000 hours. More than 50% of the Centers budget is funded by in-kind support, including staff, space, services and materials. Major funding is provided by United Way of King County, the City of Seattle, and private foundations. In addition, the Center relies on generous gifts from individuals, businesses, churches and other community organizations.
