Casa Viva is one of the first organizations to care for children through local families and churches in Central America and the Caribbean. With over ten years of experience placing children in families, and an amazing Spanish speaking staff, we are uniquely positioned to work with other organizations in our region that want to start similar initiat... ives. Our seminars and ministry consultations have brought people to Costa Rica from most of the countries in our region, or our staff has traveled to visit people on site. We created the Casa Viva Field Outpost because we recognize that our work is on the edge of a new frontier. We want to be a place where people can gather to learn about the challenges and blessings of connecting children to Christian families through local churches in a Latin context. Please help us make room for children! For 2016, Casa Viva Costa Rica is planning to make room for 225 children in local families, plus all the ripple impacts that creates across the nation. Our partnership with you allows us to continue to seed growth as local churches, government and donors assume the majority of the financial burden.
