The mission of Carolina Equipment is to provide all of our customers with excellent service through sales, rental, service and parts orders. Carolina Equipment is located on Charlotte Highway in Fairview, south of Asheville, North Carolina. The company began doing business as Rent-It of Fairview in the middle 1990's. Peter and Ellen Jensen bought t... he business in 2000. It was operating with a local manager as a small neighborhood equipment and tool rental with Peter being an absentee owner while continuing his long time business in Miami, a ship repair and management company. In 2004 he decided to devote more time and effort to the rental business and moved to North Carolina full time. The name was then changed to Carolina Equipment Rental, Sales and Service. He determined that a more profitable future lay in the larger equipment for sale and rental as well as expanding the service and parts departments. The company has been a YANMARConstruction Equipment dealer since 2002, and over the years the company has sold and serviced not only YANMARbut ASV, Fecon and many other brands to try to make this a "one stop shop". The customer base has gradually shifted from small contractors and "do-it-yourselfers" to larger construction companies, excavating contractors, State, Federal and municipal agencies. Carolina Equipment specializes in equipment dealing with environmentally friendly land clearing. We sell and service the smallest skid steer mounted mulching head to the largest 600 HP tracked mulching machine. Also the company has mulching and brush cutter attachments that will mount on track hoes from small 10,000 lb to 60,000 lb machines to rent or to purchase.Read More
