Caribbean Gardens and Market has been operating since 1965, when it started with only a handful of traders selling wares from their car boots and Water ski shows. What once was "a handful of traders" has today grown into a bustling undercover market with over 1000 stall sites. It is known as one of the largest markets in Victoria, occupying a 10,50... 0 m2 pavilion. Our Market offers hundreds of different products ranging from fresh produce, accessories, huge computer and IT section, household products, men's, womens and kids clothing and shoes, tools, toys and so much more with bargains galore. Rides operate every Sunday from 11am and during school holidays rides also operate on Wednesdays & Fridays (subject to weather conditions). For only $6.00 per ride you can enjoy a Train, Jungle Cruise or Chairlift ride. It's a fun and affordable way to entertain the children. The Caribbean Cafe and take-away caters for snacks, light food or a full meal. There is plenty of variety from great coffee, cold drinks, sandwiches, wraps, fish and chips, chicken parma, meat pies, burgers, hot chips and much more. The Gardens cover an area of approximately 100 acres surrounding the beautiful Lake Caribbean. Throughout the picnic grounds are BBQ's (free wood supplied) and plenty of picnic tables under the shade of beautiful elm, gum and pine trees. Young, old, or somewhere in-between we provide something for everyone.
