Cardy Vacuum has been serving the Ottawa area since 1982. Starting out with a small shop in the west end of the city, Cardy specialized in central vacuum systems. With central vacuums quickly gaining in popularity the business grew rapidly into one of the city's largest suppliers and installer of central vacuum systems to both the retail customer a... nd builders. With the boom in construction in the Orleans area in the 1980's it only made sense to add a second store to improve service to this fast growing community. While adding the second store, Cardy also expanded the selection of products to include portable vacuums, vacuum parts and supplies and became a full service shop for all types of vacuum cleaners. By the end of 1984 Cardy Vacuum had two large, full service stores and the expertise to look after any vacuum need. Both of our stores have a large selection of portable vacuums, central vacuums and specialty cleaners to choose from. Though Cardy Vacuum services and sells parts for all types of vacuums, the manufacturers we associate most closely with are Miele, Electrolux, Eureka, Beam, Dyson, Hoover and Riccar.
