Carbitex, a Kennewick, Wash.-based maker of flexible carbon fiber composites for footwear and luggage, raised $3.3 million in a recent funding found. Longtime investor Michael Marks, founding parter at San Francisco-based Celestea Capital and Carbitex’s executive chairman, led the latest round.
