The food is good, well-priced, consistent, and generously portioned. e've been ordering from Capri regularly for about two years... , and at least twice a month since COVID hit. It's a stand-by choice because Capri has perhaps the most reliable squadron of delivery drivers in town. They are fast and friendly, and they actually read the delivery instructions. To offer an example, our apartment is quite hard to see from the street, and we usually have takeout delivered to a nearby building. Most DoorDash and Seamless drivers have trouble even finding their way to that point. But our last Capri driver not only delivered to the correct location, but noted where our apartment was. So the next time he came directly to our place. Delivery is free with a $20 minimum, so no reason not to tip well and let it come to you. But for the record, their takeout counter also is quite efficient. e've also eaten in their dining room many times, though not since the pandemic began. It has a cool rustic industrial vibe, and the chalk mural is particularly striking. It's also quite loud during peak service, which makes it perfect for families or boisterous groups, but less so for date night. We've also found that their table service is more sluggish and inconsistent than their takeout and delivery operation, and on at least one occasion I've had to walk up to the host station to ask for a check so we could clear out. Pizzas and wedges are our two go-to options. We love the range of specialty slices ($3.75-5.50) -- chicken marsala and sausage/broccoli rabe are two of our favorites -- but we also can get down with a large plain pie ($17). The crust usually has good flavor and a pleasing char, and the only weakness we've found is that their generosity of toppings sometimes overwhelms the bread. We can live with that. ...Read More
