About Capitol Preferred Insurance
Capitol Preferred Insurance Company, Inc. (CPIC) commenced Florida business in 1998 with its first depopulation of policies from the Florida Citizens Property Insurance Corporation. CPIC then entered the Florida voluntary property market to supplement the assumed book and target certain areas and balance exposures. In 2006, CPIC assumed the South Carolina business from a company which had been placed in rehabilitation by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation and this together with additional voluntary business allowed CPIC to increase its presence in SC. CPIC is now a seasoned insurer providing homeowners and dwelling fire coverage in multiple states at competitive prices.Explore more
