About Canyon Grill
Canyon Grill was originally opened by Lawton Haygood, a Lookout Mountain native well-known as a fine-dining chef in Texas, Florida, and California, along with his wife, Karen Haygood. Haygood returned to his southern roots back in NW Georgia in 1996 to open the refined southern dining restaurant, the Canyon Grill. After nearly 20 years training and working with the Haygoods, Johnny Holland, along with wife Jessica, took over Canyon Grill in 2014. Under their direction, Canyon Grill continues to focus on seasonal cooking with high-quality ingredients - always letting the food speak for itself. "One of the many great things about this special place is our staff. We have maintained long term employees over the years, and we believe this has been a big key to our success. Everyone here at Canyon Grill cares deeply about each other and our guests. Lawton and Karen created something truly special way back in 1996 and we all want to see that tradition continue on.Explore more
