Candlelight Reiki

It is based on the idea that we have "life force energy" flowing around and through us. When one's energy is low or blocked, one is more likely to experience stress, illness or disease. When one's energy is high or balanced, one is more likely to feel relaxed and the body's own innate healing abilities are awakened an utilized for healing. While a client is seated or lying down and fully clothed, the practitiones's hands are placed along energy pathways (similar to those used by acupuncturists). The energy is transferred to the client. The client may feel warmth, coolness, gentle tingling, or just deep relaxation. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF REIKI? Research on various topics of "energy work" has shown that, in addition to deep relaxation, Reiki can promote accelerated healing of wounds, burns, infections; help reduce stress, muscle tension, pain, and blood pressure; and promote wellness and a sense of well-being.
