CANDLE provides staff development training in schools and youth serving organizations. Training curricula offer skills, strategies and resources to help clinicians, teachers and school administrators end bullying, homophobia and violence in schools and in our communities. CANDLE staff is available to offer prevention strategies and resources materials at health fairs and other youth events. CANDLE is supported by the New York State Department of Health, The New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services, the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, the County of Rockland, the Rockland County Youth Bureau, the towns of Orangetown and Ramapo, Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Clarkstown Central School District, East Ramapo Central School District, Nanuet Union Free School District, South Orangetown Central School District, Pearl River Unified School District, and by corporate sponsors, foundations and private contributions.Explore more
