Canada Mayer has a long and distinguished history in the security seals industry spanning nearly a half-century. We first opened our doors in the early 1950's under the name Canada Sealing Devices, occupying a small plant in Montreal North. With hard work and a talent for innovative product development, the founder, Victor O. Tritton , built his en... terprise producing seals for transportation and banking customers in Eastern Canada. After several successful years he was able to buy out his major competitor, Mayer Sealing Devices, and by merging the technologies of both companies, expand from coast-to-coast throughout Canada and the U.S.A. The new entity - Canada Mayer Sealing Devices - headed by the new President Victor R. Tritton, continued to expand with a comprehensive line of superior products for a wide variety of industries and with export sales in over 70 markets around the world. During this period the company grew from a few generalists to a team of over 90 manufacturing, engineering and customer service specialists working in a 40,000 square foot state-of-the-art production facility. Canada Mayer prides itself on great products, produced via efficient, streamlined processes. A comprehensive upgrading of the production, ordering and delivery processes resulted in ISO 9002 registration from the international audit firm SGS in December 1997. Management decided to go for a higher, more rigorous registration - ISO 9001 - which was awarded in August 1999. The assets of Canada Mayer Inc. were purchased by Stoffel Seals Corporation in December of 2005. Canada Mayer has been servicing customers globally for over 50 years by providing high quality Tamper Evident Security Seals with a staff of knowledgeable and courteous customer service representatives.
