Campus Cinema

Based in the heart of Exeter Universitys beautiful grounds, Campus Cinema is an award-winning student cinema. Established seven decades ago, our committee of dedicated film fans aims to provide the best possible service and selection of films for our audience. Housed in Devonshire Houses M&D Room and complete with 35mm projection and Dolby Surround... Sound, we strive to deliver the classic cinema experience. At Campus Cinema we pride ourselves on the diversity of our programmes, from mainstream blockbusters to independent, foreign and documentary film; whatever will entertain, educate and enthral our customers. We usually have regular screenings on every Tuesday and Sunday of term, and occasionally on Thursdays as a special treat! We run two screenings of each film on the night starting at 6 or 6.30pm (depending on run time) and 9pm. Tickets and Snacks are available from half an hour before each screening! Campus Cinema is proud to support initiatives that make our screenings more inclusive. Consequently, please be aware that all earlier screenings (6pm/6:30pm) will be shown with HoH subtitles that are provided by the distributors of the film when available. And everyone is welcome! Campus Cinema is Exeter's cheapest cinema, and although our core audience is the student population we are open to everyone. Alongside our regular screenings, we also run quiz nights, mini-film festivals, outdoor screenings, and much more!
