Campo School District RE-6 is located in Campo, Colorado. The community is located in the southeastern part of Colorado and is found on the map 28 miles north of Boise City, Oklahoma, and 70 miles west of Elkhart, Kansas. The community consists of a one gas station, a Post Office, and one café. Approximately 100 residents are located in the communi... ty. The community is predominately farming and ranching. The extremely rural location provides challenges to the students and the staff as they participate in the work of education in the academic classrooms. However, through the use of grant money, the school has provided each studen t w ith the accessibility to a C hromebook. There are also several laptops available for student use. Elementary students in Pre-K through 5 th grades have access to iPad s for additional instruction and supplemental use in the classroom and remote learning. The school system is comprised of approximately 4 8 students, 9 highly qualified classroom teachers, and 7 staff members including paraprofessionals, cooks, secretaries, bus drivers, and maintenance/custodian.
