Camplans was established in 2009 and specialises in domestic residential developments in and around Cambridgeshire. I work for private individuals only to ensure a local, personal and professional service is maintained from inception through to completion of your project. My name is Dean Girling. I was born and have lived in Cambridge all my life.... From a very young age you would always find me drawing or making models, therefore it was no surprise when way back in 1991 I qualified as an Architectural Technician. Throughout my career to date I have worked for four large Architectural practices in and around Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire. My role initially was to produce high quality working drawing packages for a variety of commercial, educational and residential projects from £100k Classroom extensions up to £6m Superstores and £12m Local educational developments. In later years I would move up to become Project Architect on many Retail and Educational projects overseeing developments from inception to completion. I also have over 20 years extensive knowledge and experience of producing designs and drawing packages on a smaller scale for various residential extensions, alterations and new build projects across Cambridgeshire. On a personal level I have carried out six major house renovations and two new build projects of my own, including a garage conversion to form a new dwelling as part of my most recent renovation project.
