Local businesses, organizations and individuals partnered with Family & Children's Service (FCS) to support the annual toy drive. The agency was founded in 1933 and offers a unique toy drive in that it addresses the wish list of participating children on their own unique tag that hangs on participating 'Giving Trees' with their name, size, and age... on it. "Giving is the true spirit of the Holidays," Karen Campi of Wall said. "Helping local children receive items on their wishlist is a gift to all of us. Campi is part of Campi Dental in Wall, who hosted one of the Giving Trees. "We sponsored 20 children this year and we're honored and grateful that in just a few days all of the children were taken care of," she said. "Operation Sleighbells is a wonderful representation of FCS's mission for supporting those in need with our programs and services" said Colleen Verriest, CEO of Family & Children's Service (FCS). "Our founders had the compassionate vision to brighten the holidays for underserved children, by providing toys and gifts at Christmastime. 110 years after our founding, we are very fortunate to continue providing this to our community with donations from groups like Campi Dental." Thankfully, Campi Dental had a Giving Tree that I was able to pick a name from so I could go out and get the very doll she was hoping for.
