Camp Meriwether

Hello to the Troop 51 Family. I hope you are all healthy and happy! As all are aware, the current situation with COVID-19 has made for some big changes in everyones life. Prior to this outbreak, we were well on the way to a great Spaghetti Dinner and were very much looking forward to summer camp at Camp Meriwether in Oregon. None of us could have f... oreseen the challenge we would face just a few short weeks ago. As of now, we as a Key 3 have determined that our annual Spaghetti Dinner is canceled for 2020. We will therefore not be able to attend camp at Camp Meriwether as the inability to fundraise would put an undue burden on many of the families in our Troop. We are working on an alternative for both fundraising and for summer camp, and we will give you details as we have them. For those who purchased tickets to our Spaghetti Dinner and would like a refund, we will be outside the Elks Lodge on April 25 from 5:00 until 7:00 and we are happy to issue a refund at that time. You must bring all of your tickets with you in order to obtain a refund. You are welcome to pass this message along via whatever means you have at your disposal.
