Chipinaw is a co-educational overnight camp located in New York's picturesque Catskill Mountains. Situated on a private 96-acre lake, Chipinaw offers a beautiful and tranquil wooded setting where campers ages 7-17, come for a summer of laughter and fun and leave feeling like part of the Chipinaw family. With the atmosphere of a small and intimate camp and a large staff of dedicated counselors, the company's campers are ensured quality personal attention. The company also strive to offer a great variety of daily activities, allowing campers to improve their skills, learn new talents and most importantly, be safe and have lots of fun. Built specifically as a summer camp in 1926, Chipinaw has grown into the camp it is today - shaped over the years by only three dedicated and loving owners. Though we're always adding new activities - as the company try to keep up with all the changes around the company - the company still strive to respect and honor the tradition of Chipinaw's history. The more modern day activities such as digital animation, circus, and spin biking blend into the company's program alongside more traditional activities such as arts and crafts and horseback riding. For campers that have the whole summer to spend with the company, the company's CHIPINAW campus offers everything you would expect from a modern camping experience in a traditional setting. For those of you with less time to spend, the neighboring SILVER LAKE campus offers the same program and experience, but in half the time - with two sessions during the summer.
