About Camp Challenge
The mission of Camp Challenge is to enrich the lives of young hematology/oncology patients including, but not limited to, cancer and sickle cell disorders, their siblings and survivors by creating a week-long camping experience at no cost. Our purpose is to provide a recreational environment that is memorable, fun, empowering, safe and medically sound to help them cope with the challenges of childhood diseases and prepare them for life after illness. Due to the Covid19 (Corona) virus, it is with great sadness that we are officially cancelling the 2020 session of LA LIONS-CAMP CHALLENGE. Although we are heartbroken, we know that this is what is best for our camp population. We ask you to pray for the safety of all of our camp family-especially those who are on the front lines in our hospitals-our nurses, doctors, and students.
