Camp Blue Ridge operates as a non-profit Christian camp for the benefit of children, youth and families in a natural environment. Camp Blue Ridge is founded in the belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. This has been the purpose of Camp Blue Ridge and has never wavered. Camp Blue Ridge is committed to equipping young people with the essential... tools of Christian leadership. Whether camper or staff, exposure to the beauty of God's creation through a structured camp program will encourage people to learn more about themselves, improve their relationships with others, recognize their responsibility to society, and build their relationship with God. In general, Camp Blue Ridge's program is designed for those who are healthy and strong; physically, emotionally, socially, mentally and spiritually. We recognize that many will come with different levels of strengths in these areas, and at times programming may need to be adjusted to meet specific needs. Camp Blue Ridge will seek to meet each camper where he/she is and challenge and encourage growth in these areas through a variety of camp experiences. Each area will be under the supervision of trained and dedicated Christian young adults as counselors and instructors. Camp Blue Ridge seeks to serve people, regardless of race or creed, who desire to learn to care for themselves in an outdoor Christian camp setting and who are eager to work, study, play and grow together with others of like mind.
