GGN Data has strategically located a Point of Presence (POP) on the 19th floor of 39 Broadway, ensuring a fast, reliable connection to the Internet. A fiber-optic backbone connects every floor of the building to the POP. Utilizing a Cisco based switching platform, tenants will be able to accept data services from GGN through an RJ-45 Ethernet port, thus eliminating the need for access hardware such as CSU/DSUs and routers. GGN's Internet backbone consists of redundant DS-3 and DS-1 connections to Tier 1 backbone providers utilizing physically diverse local loop connections. Tenants will be able to select from three levels of Internet access ranging in speed from 256k to 10MG. Frame Relay and Private Line services will be provided for both MAN and WAN applications.
