Caltek Technical Services was formed in 1987. It is a UK-based partnership that understands the vital role of informative, supportive documentation in the success of a product. The business is headed by Managing Partner and Senior Technical Author, Alan Clarke. Alan has a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and over 20 years of experie... nce as a technical author. After graduating, he worked as a software engineer and trainer within the integrated-circuit industry, where he was responsible for the development and deployment of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools. Alan was on the Department of Trade and Industry's List of Consultants, and was presented with an award by the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry for contributions to the promotion of integrated-circuit and CAD technologies within UK businesses under the M90s programme. Alan is co-author of "ELLA 2000, A Language for Electronic System Design", which is published by McGraw-Hill. ELLA won the Queen's Award for Technological Achievement. Alan is a specialist technical author of security-related products and systems, and has worked extensively for companies involved in access control, database security, intrusion management, security management, mobile (cellular) phone security, CCTV and user activity monitoring. All other members of our team have been selected for their knowledge, ability, experience and technical communication skills. Caltek Technical Services is based in Worcestershire, England. Our clients are mostly based in the south of England, including Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Gloucester, London, and in towns and cities along the M4 corridor.
