The brothermachines.com URL is owned, operated and maintained in the UK by C & A Supply Co. Ltd. (see contact page for full details) C&A Supply Co. (formerly C&A Sewing Machine Co.) was first established in 1948 and incorporated in 1961. We have been supplying brother sewing machines since the early 1970s. The business was founded by 2 pre-war friends, Ron Crawley & Tom Adams (hence the C&A). Runited after hostilities ceased, they began to supply sewing machine parts and accessories to the sewing trade, eventually leading to the supply of the machines themselves. Originally based in Islington, London, C&A had a 25-year stint in Clapham, South London before taking the decision to move out to its current home in Cranleigh, Surrey in 2008.
