Byrrd Enterprises was founded approximately 30 years ago when several AAFES stores were having a hard time finding other companies to purchase reading list and other titles, because of their low discounts. Mr. Williams took a chance, furnished the books and was eventually given a contract for US stores nationwide. Byrrd provides a service that no o... ther vendor does. That service is providing professional military reading to the Soldier. We are willing to purchase titles that have very low discounts as well as non-returnable items to ensure that the Soldier has access to the best selection of books and information available. Byrrd pays all shipping costs to the stores, except for an approved 3% of the cost total for overseas stores. The 3% helps to offset the excessive cost of shipping outside the continental US.
