My work affects human subconsciousness by presenting an unconscious, perceptual stimulus that is not easily recognizable. I think I've been working on about 400 watercolors over the past decade or so with the theme of 'Resurrection'. Some were sold, but about 100 were wedding celebratory props. Although I have heard it from newly married couples, I usually hear it from their parents. I often hear that the longer they appreciate, the better. The more they like it because it means 'Resurrection'. And sometimes they keep it as a family treasure. I'm just glad to hear that my watercolor props are long loved by young newlyweds as they hang on to their bedrooms, living rooms or study rooms. ..............................The silhouette technique of my healing graphism works do not use anything other than the subject. While the images are symbolic, they are as simple as a symbol or a trademark. A happy man is not without wounds, but a man can heal himself through many wounds. My healing graphism works are emotionally capable of supporting this belief. Everyone lives with a variety of problems that are not resolved in their minds, though problems may differ from one person to another. Physical wounds heal over time, but mental wounds persist. Wounds exist in the form of energy within our bodies. No matter how hard we try to get rid of them or deny them, they are hiding somewhere and, from time to time, appear seemingly out of nowhere. ..............................If you ask me to pick up one of the representative works of the resurrection series, I would say Platanus and hummingbirds.
