About Buford-Thompson
BTC was established in 1979 and over the past thirty two years grown to become a major public school builder in North Texas. BTC has worked for 40 school districts on over 250 facilities and all projects opened on time. BTC is creative in the company's approach. Many school projects require that students occupy the school during renovation and construction. The company focuses on student safety throughout the project and minimize disturbances to the teachers and students. At Martin High School in Arlington, Texas, for example, the company doubled the size of the school while students were in attendance and built around the existing building. It is now one of the largest schools in Texas, serving over 3,700 students. During the summer of 2003 the company successfully remodeled 19 schools in nine weeks.
