Dr. Walter Morton, O.D. is an optometrist with 24 years of experience as an eye doctor. He was recently named the Colorado Optometrist of the Year. Catherine Janeszek is our Licensed Optician, with more than 30 years of experience. An optometrist is a medically trained eye doctor (Doctor of Optometry) who provides both vision care and eye care, including the diagnosis and medical treatment of eye diseases. An optician is trained and certified in the fitting and dispensing of eyeglasses or contact lenses. An optician doesn't have medical training and doesn't diagnose or treat eye diseases.
