BTR was founded by Messrs Orlowski, Eilers and Roe who moved their division of MF Global outside the firm. Seeking to build an execution focused brokerage firm with a world-class trading infrastructure, the team set up shop across the street from the CME's original headquarters in July 2010. The firms' principals bring over 60 years of combined experience in futures markets with them, ranging from Chicago's trading pits to the electronic world of algorithmic trading.
