Brunner Gallery is the creation of gallery director, Susan Brunner and Louisiana sculptor, Rick Brunner, a husband and wife team who opened their first art gallery ten years ago in the heart of historic downtown Covington, Louisiana. Their vision was to provide a platform for a small handful of local and regional artists to show and exhibit origina... l artwork. Over the years, Brunner Gallery has grown to be one of the most popular and recognized contemporary art galleries in the South. Brunner Gallery operates in two locations: the main gallery in downtown Covington, Louisiana, and the multidisciplinary contemporary Shaw Center for the Arts in Baton Rouge. Exhibitions of original painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media assemblage feature the work of artists from across the United States and Europe. Brunner also hosts a selection of fine/functional art objects made of glass, ceramics, metal, paper and wood including fine handmade contemporary furniture.
