Like all tech guys, I was looking to upgrade my stage so I contacted a few companies and paid $1,500 just to get a consultation!!! After paying $1,500 for a consultation I was given a quote of $250,000!!! Even after going back and forth, searching and negotiating for a lower quote; the lowest I was able to get was $80,000!!! Needless to say, I was... disappointed because that price was more than my yearly budget. I couldnt wrap my head around the fact that I couldnt get anything for less than $80,000 so I began to think of ways I could change the look of my stage for a reasonable price.
