Brown and White Inc was established in 1980 as a heavy industrial fence company. After a few years we began steel fabricating and installing guardrail and signs, thus becoming a specialty company. The knowledge and experience gained during many years of subcontracted work in the heavy highway and commercial building helped to provide Brown and White the competitive edge. With that, as growth opportunities became available, B&WI invested in key personnel and reinvested the company profits for the purchase of tools, equipment and office improvements; upgrades essential to our status as an industry and business leader in the community. Led by our president and founder, Pete Granillo Hispanic Man of the Year for Tucson, Arizona our firm is a fully insured and bonded specialty construction company with heavy involvement in community improvement; a principle common goal with our clients, partners and employees. B&WI is a 100% minority owned business. Brown and White is certified by ADOT and the City of Tucson as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and a Small Business Enterprise (SBE). Safety is paramount to any successful business. B&WI prides itself on a safe working environment. Our safety program emphasizes to each employee -- "a safe return home to your family after a day's labor." The program includes regular meetings with up to date OSHA regulations, onsite safety visits and training as needed. All vehicles are equipped with SDS books and first aid kits, along with fire extinguishers.
