Established in 1977. Brothers III is a gas station, convenience store, and sporting goods store that offers the largest and cheapest selection of beverages and snacks in Valley City! We carry gasoline with and without ethanol, Premium gas, and Diesel #1, #2, and Premium Diesel. Brothers III also has the largest and most complete selection of live b... ait and fishing tackle & gear in the area! Fresh coffee, cappucino, and food prepared daily. On January 1st, 1977 brothers Jim, Gary, and Ron Peterson purchased Brothers III, which was a Texaco at the time. The brothers and their parents and family had long live just across from where Brothers III is located. They started out selling mostly guns and hunting & fishing supplies, and later electronics, and eventually transitioned into a complete gas station/convenience store, but also kept the fishing tackle and bait. Since then, they have added on to the building, and maintained an amazing local atmosphere! The Petersons and their spouses worked the business themselves for 38 years! On June 28th 2015 they hired Valley City local Ben Kjelland as General Manager to hire a staff and take over operation of the store so that they could make the transition to retirement.
