Brothers Buoy

On July 1st of this year, The Brothers Buoy was acquired by a wonderful marketing agency called Blue Wheel Media. This is an incredibly exciting moment for us, and a bolt from the blue (pun intended) as when the pandemic first hit, we werent sure that we would be able to continue our company full time or at all. When we started this project five ye... ars ago, we never thought it would turn into a company. And when started the company two years ago, we never thought that we could be acquired. We feel a tremendous sense of gratitude to all the folks at Blue Wheel for taking a chance on our little agency in the midst of all this uncertainty. We also want to thank all the clients we have worked with over the past two years. Without you all we wouldnt be here. The team at Blue Wheel has trusted in us a great deal of autonomy when it comes to running the new department we are creating. This will allow us to honor the commitment we made to ourselves earlier this year to be much more inclusive when we hire people to work for us on set or model and act in our shoots. Blue Wheel is also currently working with a local group in Detroit to assist in education efforts to close the opportunity gap for employment of BIPOC in the marketing and advertising space. One of the biggest reasons we decided to say yes to joining Blue Wheel was that they insisted that we bring our voice, sense of humor and creative style to their brand as well - merging our external presence with theirs as opposed to simply assimilating into something already in place.
