Broome Camp School

Broome Camp School provides a positive experience for students attending camp; while at the same time gives the opportunity for curriculum linked experiential learning to take place whilst having the time of their lives! We like to modify activities to complement individual school specific learning objectives and values. We offer a range of challen... ging and adventurous outdoor education activities including archery, low ropes, wall climbing, prusiking, bike education, team building activities, mini surf lifesaving carnivals, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, boogie boarding, kayaking and many more. All activities are run by qualified Outdoor Education instructors. We also offer environmental and sustainability education programs, artistic programs, pizza making or camp fire cooking and importantly lifeskills. Broome Camp School conference room also offers a unique setting for your next conference, fully catered and with accommodation. The room comfortably seats between 25-35 people, depending on seating/table arrangements. Our accommodation sleeps 88 students and staff, in four dormitories with 20 student beds and 2 teacher rooms per dormitory. The four dormitories Joker, Onyx, Kea and Frosty were all named after historic Pearl Luggers. There are a number of local external providers in Broome used by the camp school which the meet the Department's excursion management policy.
