"A number of years ago I was struck by the need for high quality textbooks for advanced mathematics courses. In 1997, I decided to collaborate with Brooks/Cole to create a Series in Advanced Mathematics. As editor for the series, I am developing a collection of books in the post-calculus to first year graduate study range, adding several new texts every year. The texts in the series should be relevant to a wide range of undergraduate and graduate students. I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarship by publishing authors who are leaders in their mathematical fields."Read More
