They are fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Philip Klein and Melvyn Goldman over the years as an integral part of the total development process of their family owned shopping centers. Mr. Brooks started his career in 1966 with the development of the Greenspring Shopping Center. Mr. Goldman began his career in 1970. Adam Kaftol joined the firm in 1990 to complete the leasing and management team. From 1966 to the present, Mr. Brooks and Mr. Goldman have together or with others developed or renovated 18 shopping centers containing approximately 1,800,000 square feet of commercial space. They also developed the 73 unit Copper Hill Townhouse Condominiums in Baltimore County in the mid 1970's. Shopping Center Management Company, Inc., an affiliate of Brooks & Goldman Realty, currently manages eight shopping centers containing just over 730,000 square feet.Read More
